Steve’s Pallets was founded by Steve Kinard in 1990 with just a hammer and a truck filled with 2x4s. Steve grew his Pallet Delivery Service Company into the business it has become before retiring and passing control over to his son, Bo. Today, Bo Kinard carries on the tradition, growing the family-owned small North Carolina business into a trusted supplier for manufacturers and warehouses across the Carolinas.

What’s the difference between Grade #1 and #2 recycled pallets?
Grade #1 pallets have cleaner repairs and are better suited for sensitive or heavy-duty applications. Grade #2 pallets have more repairs but remain dependable and cost-effective.

Yes. Simply note “HT” in your request and we’ll ensure your order is certified for export.

Can you make custom size pallets?
Absolutely! We build custom pallets everyday for our pallet customers. Simply provide your dimensions and load requirements, and we’ll build to spec.

Do you have a minimum quality for pallet delivery?
Yes. An ideal pallet delivery would be a minimum of 50 pallets. For custom orders of pallets and crates, often times we may deliver less than our minimum pallet standard.

How much do pallets cost?
Cost depends on size, material (new vs recycled), condition (grade), quantity, custom features, and delivery distance. We provide fast, itemized quotes based on your specs.

How long will it take for delivery/new/custom pallets?
Standard lead times can be as quick as same day delivery for in-stock or recycled pallets, depending on delivery distance; custom pallet builds can be delivered as quickly as 3-5 business day. What are your pallet delivery payment terms
Steve’s Pallets does not require a deposit. For large and custom orders, preferred terms are net 15-30 but we’ve flexible because we know your pallet needs and your accounts payable department function under difficult guidelines and SOPs. Ultimately, project size, frequency of orders and customer relationship controls the answer the question.

What are your pallet safety / quality standards?
We inspect for structural pallet and crate soundness; follow GMA standards; we do not build block pallets,strong pallets stringers, no loose pallet boards. We use appropriate pallet fasteners and the highest standard of pallet construction materials and methods in North Carolina.
